Summer in The Time of Corona was written as a writing challenge to prove to myself that I can complete something. Not only did I rise to the challenge, I learned a lot about myself as a person and as a writer. I don’t write a lot of poetry, but I find that poetry is my go-to when I want to express my emotions about myself, life, and current events. This collection is an exploration of themes such as pandemic, insecurity, fear, greed, vulnerability and isolation.
